I’m always asked, “Why call it Dandelion?” I will let you in on a secret, I named my company Dandelion Experience as an homage or tribute to my roots. I am a from a TINY town in North Dakota and the first “flower” of the Spring was always a Dandelion. These beautiful Dandelions were the first promise of the beautiful warm sunny days to come after our usual long long long cold Winters. It is also the first bouquet I gave my Mother, who passed away 20+ years ago from cancer. She always smiled and hugged me each year when I proudly presented her with my freshly picked dandelion bouquet. She would pull out her crystal vase and place the freshly picked dandelions on the table in the center of the room… as if they were a bouquet of the finest roses.

To this day these precious memories of my mother and dandelions is why when I see a Dandelion it makes me smile, remembering happy times and the priceless moments with my Mom.

Because of this tie to my mother, and wanting to always make her proud, I founded Dandelion Experience to make a difference and help people. This is why Dandelion Experience is a purpose-driven consulting firm that first and foremost is here to help people and companies solve problems in many areas from IT to operations to business process and business strategy design.
